Is the treatment painful?

Not at all. The Excimer laser treatment is completely painless. You may feel a very mild warmth during the session, and the treated spot might turn slightly pink (like a mild sunburn) for a day, which shows the treatment is working.

How many sessions are required?

Treatments are usually scheduled 2 to 3 times a week. While every patient responds differently, visible repigmentation often begins to show after 10 to 15 sessions.

Is it safe for children?

Yes. Because the Excimer laser only targets the specific white patches and avoids healthy skin, it is considered highly safe and effective for treating pediatric vitiligo.
